Dabei betrachten wir jeden Zahn einzeln. Denn nicht jede Situation benötigt einen chirurgischen Eingriff und nicht jeder Defekt lässt sich auf dieselbe Weise behandeln. Der Eingriff erfolgt in der Regel unter örtlicher Betäubung. Das Zahnfleisch wird vorsichtig geöffnet, damit wir die erkrankten Bereiche und die Oberfläche der Zahnwurzel gut erreichen können. Dort entfernen wir entzündetes Gewebe und bakterielle Ablagerungen besonders gründlich. Anschließend können – abhängig von der individuellen Situation – spezielle Eiweiße, Knochenersatzmaterialien oder schützende Membranen eingesetzt werden. Sie schaffen günstige Bedingungen, damit sich das Gewebe während der Heilung neu ordnen und stabilisieren kann.
Nach der Behandlung wird das Zahnfleisch behutsam wieder verschlossen. Wir begleiten Sie eng durch die Heilungsphase und erklären Ihnen genau, worauf Sie in den ersten Tagen achten sollten.
